We had the final walk through for our townhouse tonight, and we close in 2 days. It has all seemed somewhat surreal...all the paper signing, waiting - just the whole process - of buying our first home. And we did it FAST. But once we were in there tonight, we started getting excited. (It's been a little hard to be too excited about the whole moving process since I haven't been feeling well at all for the past month.) We narrowed down the paint colors. We even bought our very own mailbox! There are still a lot of things on the checklist of "to dos" but we are well on our way! I have even felt well the past two days, which I am hoping is a new trend as it is much more fun to hang out at the beach playing with Sawyer, keeping cool on hot days, and checking those "to dos" off my list than lay on the couch or the floor feeling sick all day long. Let the countdown begin! We are STOKED about owning our very own home!!!

we are stoked for you! That is soooo exciting. And you get to stay in the best city.
We are stoked for you too! Congratulations on your soon-to-be home ownership and hooray for Baby Carter #2!! We hope that your sick days disappear really soon. I don't have any specific foods to remedy pregnancy sickness, but I remember that as long as I had something in my tummy by eating small bites almost constantly, I was okay. Good luck!
I can't wait to come and see the place! Isn't painting and decorating SO much fun! We've lived in this house for almost 4 years and the work has never stopped!! Maybe a bit of homeowner advice! ;)

K I swear I left a comment on your blog yesterday, but now I don't see it. I wonder what happened. anyway...
So I just have to say congratulations on all of your exciting news! A new house, a new baby, wahoo!! And I really feel for you with the sickness. No fun. I don't think I left the couch the first few months of each pregnancy. YUCK. I hope you start to feel much better soon.
Looks like you guys are doing lots of fun stuff, G and I were just thinking of taking a trip to the olympic penn. We may need some good travel tips because your trip looked amazing!! pretty pictures as always.
